Join us for a 2-day in-person Identity Development (ID) Workshop in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The ID Method is a safe, holistic, and profoundly impactful way of processing early trauma. When we’re young and experience trauma, our psyche (inner world) fragments creating split off parts. These aspects of ourselves become our inner children. They live in isolation, trapped in those terrible moments when they were overwhelmed and hurt.
This is what triggers us and causes us to have inner conflicts and self-sabotaging behaviors. Our unprocessed adverse childhood experiences make it difficult to have healthy connection with ourselves and with others; relationships become fraught.
In this Workshop, we will use the ID Method to come into safe, tender contact with our young inner parts. This contact reconnects us to the healthy bonds that were broken when the trauma(s) occurred. The result is a profound sense of safety and inner peace. This self-nurturing contact frees up a wellspring of natural life force and creative energy.
The Workshop will be a combination of ID Sessions and interactive discussion of ID Theory.
In this Workshop, you will:
RESONATE naturally tapping into our inter-connectivity
CONNECT deeply with your inner child parts
LEARN & UNDERSTAND how your psyche works and how to give it healthy support
