Healing the Pain of Unresolved Early Trauma:
IOPT / ID Workshop in Bristol, England
Identity Development (ID) is a parts-based modality that is able to access and integrate Early Trauma using a group process called Resonating.
** Note the ID Method is based on Dr. Franz Ruppert's work, Identity-Oriented Traumatheory and Therapy (IOPT). To learn more, click here. **
Early Trauma affects us profoundly, even though we can't recall our time in utero, at birth, or during pre-verbal development. The impact of this trauma can show up in symptoms like:
- Chronic pain
- Anxiety
- Shutdown and numbness
- Disconnection and isolation
- Addictions and compulsions
- Relationship issues
ID Sessions or Self-Meetings aim to safely resolve these signs of trauma. Not by alleviating the symptoms, but by witnessing and integrating the trauma, and creating wholeness and connection.
ID Work is not about labeling, analysing, or pathologising the Subject of the ID Session. Instead, we use group resonating to support the Subject to gently uncover the root of their Early Trauma and to begin to unwind the impacts of this trauma.
This Workshop will offer a combination of ID Sessions and an interactive discussion of ID Theory. Participants are encouraged to be the Subject of an ID Session and/or to resonate for others.
In this Workshop, you will:
RESONATE naturally tapping into our inter-connectivity
CONNECT deeply with your inner child parts
LEARN & UNDERSTAND how your psyche works and how to give it healthy support
ATTUNE and access your inner guidance
